This update counts on impressive amount of old pending recordings, some to check, some to get from proper sources. Here it lies, on the cradle of some baby during a wedding party somewhere in time during extreme boredom and drunkess, the vomiiiitttt , it will chase you on your deepest und ugliest dreams of rape and torture , but will be happily summarised in a beautful kick in the face of some greedy politician or piggy cop or brainless preacher: POWERLORD(US) - The Awakening 1986, bootleg tape. Spectacular Speed/Thrash/Power Metal from US in the very vein of ANNIHILATOR(Can) and NASTY SAVAGE(US) and some SLAYER(US) on "Masters of Death" track which also lead me to "Depth of Death" by SENTINEL BEAST(US), it took me quite a good time to get at least a proper audio from this, I lost the opportunity to buy the CD reissued by Shadow Kingdom Recs and now appears to be at very stupid high prices. I have not too much to add since the description is quite asserted in my opinion, expect fantastic solos. My favs are "Malice" , "The Invasion of the lords", "Merciless Titans" and "(The Awakening) Powerlord" but the whole LP is consistent and short so totally enjoyable on its full completeness. Don't know them? don't even hesitate on giving them a listen! Старый Город (Rus) - Старый Город 2011, this is a double CD compilation I still don't have anything more than a rip. Interesting Heavy Metal band, in the vein of Маркиза (Rus) and its first track ist just like Мастер (Rus) . It 's a little bit more heavy than Маркиза and little bit more obscure. I think is another one of those interesting female-vox projects I needed to get. You can feel an ACID (Bel) vibe here and there but her vocals are pretty strong. Those words are for the first CD. The second one, the female voice was replaced by a guy who is not bad but the music changed quite completely, little bit of Speed Metal involved but still HM influenced by the british wave, LED ZEPPELIN(UK), DEEP PURPLE(UK), SAXON(UK), BLACK SABBATH (UK) ,etc . It's impressive the sound quality and execution for what seems to be a live recording, well it is a live album. Interesting fact is that this killer guitar player was the same in KRUGER (Rus) , named Hammer. So I got clear that Natalia was the vox on the second album whilst the first one (second CD) is a guy and those live recordings were their first live album. I wish I could buy from Maximum Records, I need some stuff from there, so anyone willing to help, throw me an email ! BATTLEFIELD(Ger) - We come to Fight 1987 MLP, bootleg, This was one of the first Thrash Metal acts with female vocals I have ever known but never realised this was such a difficult recording to acquire. Luckily I was able to get the damned original rip after more than a decade! Those who don't know this project, well this is an spectacular SLAYER(GER) and ASSASSIN(Ger) combination with their own german touch. Since its powerful "We come to Fight" track begins, you know your brains are going to be smashed. Then you will surrender under the blade of "Nuclear Death" and "Knock on your door" , catchy choruses and dynamic production, this is what you'll find on the first side of this MLP. The vocalist Conny has an spectacular tune and when screams and her tune breaks it's pure delightfulness. "Grave of the unknown" opens the second side , good machinegun samples on the chorus which generates the effect of agression on the listener. "Possessed Preacher" closes this short and effective recording. Highly recommended for any kind of Thrash Metal worshiper. WARDANCE(Ger) - Crucifixion MLP 1988 , bootleg. Another german attack with female vocalist in the line of BATTLEFIELD(Ger) , RUNNING WILD(Ger) and HELLOWEEN(Ger) from 1984 Death Metal LP era, METALLICA(US) and ZNOWHITE(US). "Crucifixion" is an acoustic classical music intro followed by "Neverending Nightmare", which is a killer track to start with this MLP. "Chonda's Dream" is more arpeggio kind of track , slower but goes pretty well with the vocalist, in the IRON MAIDEN(UK) 's line, then has a short doublebass drumming which ressembles to VIOLENT FORCE(Ger) . "Killing Snow" starts with more arpeggio-classical approach, drumming totally takes you to the VIOLENT FORCE vibe. Here we conclude with side A. "Don't play with fire" opens side B, good track, not outsanding. "Friday the 13th" is horrifyingly garbage and the next two tracks, "Ernst Neger und seine moshenden Eierachander" and "Outro: Fuck Off" are just there to fill the space gap. Sadly this side leaves you with the idea this is full crap but the first tracks are quite great. Definately this recording deserves to be checked but not to become obssessed. addition: after more listenings, I ended up coping with "Friday the 13th" so overall pretty good MLP. ICE AGE(Swe) - General Alert 1987 Demo , dubbed tape, this begins as a totally obscure Thrash Metal act, its distortion on guitars sounds quite Russian in fact so expect METALLICA (US) influences, and the chorus on "General Alert" first track "this means war" reminded me of something else I cannot recall fuk (is not TANK(UK) ) [update: was it NOCTURNUS(US) again ? ] ... the vocalist is hugely weird because she sings as if it were a Heavy Metal project but this one along with "Mental Disorder" track, are like Technical Thrash Metal. This is a female project on its whole. This side is killer, I know is quite difficult at first listen but then it just cracks your skull, these girls probed they were totally skilled. Side B begins with "Abducation at night" , the spectrum of (death? ) influences got totally inverted, you can think of DIO(US) and ROCK GODDESS(UK) . When "Into the danger zone" WARLOCK(Ger) influences on the voice becomes clearer , here, Sabrina's tune is excellent. Even though I wish all tracks on this side were thrashier, these are not bad at all. "A case of cerebral Death" extinguishes the last milimetres of tape. Highly recommended. ICE AGE(Swe) - Demo '88, dubbed tape, this is little bit more technical, in the very same line of the thrash metal tracks from previous demo, on first track I can find ressemblance to INVOKATOR(Dnk) , "In the name of Science" THEY DIE! is excellent! and "The Betrayal" starts as if it were a LIVING COLOR (US) track from "Vivid" LP era, quite interesting. Definately a nice recommendation by my friend Denis, thank you pal for all your shares! MORTEM(Rus) - Born by Evil demo 1991, independent, Death Metal/Thrash Metal from Russia in the 90s vein but with the almost-line-sharping-axe guitar tune from the previous decade. The vocals are totally deep but not dull growls, russianvodka-ish ones. The project itself is not a fast one , it even has some HELLHAMMER(Swi) , SODOM(Ger) influences, mid-tempo, pretty killer demo that also took me 10 years to fukin get it. Терминатор (Rus) - Запись в Клубе Кожевников 13.12.92 . this recording begin just like "Dawn of eternity" riff from MASSACRE(US) but later mutates into the russia sphere from the 90s , I thought of MISCREANT(Rus) and also DISPENSARY(Rus) . Not too much to add , Запись в Клубе Кожевников 20.06.92 counts on a more live sounding, more thrashy, more russia from their previous USSR times. Of course that is what makes this stuff more interesting but is not that outstanding. Anyway, have you ever heard of this project? recommended for diggers! Терминатор (Rus) - Охота на Ведьм Studio Demo 05.92 , this is a much better recording, now you can hear the echo on some phrases, panned guitars, I can think of KRÜGER(Rus) in a slower manner and thrashier due to its not barking screams at all. The fact that this is from 1992 and the insert shows it was released in 1998 seems quite weird, I presume this was quite exhumed... did no one care about releasing this stuff before? Again, not outstanding, for diggers only! Сукина Дочь (Rus) - По сучьему веленью 2013, by Possession records from Belarus, I always thought newer generations of russian thrashers forgot their ways from early stages of thrashing distortion during dictatorship times. Well, these occult bastards created such a bunch of noise with SODOM(GER) influences among their russian accent mixed with Brazilian shit ala SARCOFAGO(Bra) that your brain will collide into volkanik torments... first track is like "Burst command til war" whilst the following is into "Black Vomit" . What's so appealing from them to me? Did you check their logo? Swastika with a jewish star plus the communist logo? what the fuk is this fuk? What are the chants ala Клиника (Rus) on the beginning of their third track with those thrashing riffs . Did you check the effects on vocals, the environment, the wholeness of this unknown insanity? Have you ever checked a picture of these monsters? Hey, punk, what? This is what I was looking for, rebels. Get or die, traditionalist fukers be possessed, succumb to your tongue and lick this dick. (Rus) - ПОСТ 1990, CDR mp3-sourced, this is the only way that seems to work for this forgotten-in-time project. Outstanding in your face Thrash Metal with really catchy riffs, rythms, solos,etc... one of the best projects from Russia I must say, with lots of classical music influences. Originally recorded on Reel-to-reel , as much of the ancient russian stuff, this was never properly issued, what a fukin pitty!! Honestly I am not sure if I can compare this band to any other at this very moment, probably a good mixture of US-Thrash Metal, be it SLAYER(US) and German-Thrash Metal be it KREATOR(Ger) and POISON(Ger) with their very own touch , kind of latinamerican vox and when on melodic parts it reminds you to hellenic scales, let's name VARATHRON(Gre) and also DEATH COURIER(Gre), the more Speed Metal passages also reminded me to Фаланга (Rus) and the closing track is kind of Punk. This is a total must! Фаланга (Rus) - Recordings 1986-1989, CDR mp3-sourced, I mentioned them so I felt I had to write little bit more. Together with DEATH VOMIT(Rus) and KRÜGER(Rus) , this were my first russian encounters. These guys are influenced by lots of stuff and their tracks vary from in-your-face thrash metal to speed metal rock. I think it ressembles to SAVAGE DEATH(US) in few riffs mixed with CELTIC FROST(Swi), PROTECTOR(Ger) Misantrophy MLP era, POISON(Ger) pre-LP, MESSIAH(Swi) pre-LP , SAMHAIN(Dnk) , TOXIC TRASH(Svk) first LP, and may be it's that FLAME(Gre) 's feeling, from "Summon the dead" LP era, on few scales that are common in most USSR projects, russian classical music. This is another of those lost in time recordings that deserve a proper desecration. This plus KRÜGER (the 91 demo) were a total immersion into this unique kind of sound. Killer! SABOTAGE (Arg) - Demo 1989 , RE 2021 CD by Despreciable Realidad Records, Noto guitar tune from SUPER RATON(Arg) , TOKYO BLADE (UK) riffs and something on vocals similar to Charly Lopez from ALVACAST(Ury) and probably a couple of riffs, also due to this mixture, I can find similarities to ATLAIN(Ger) too and King Diamond sharp screams. This describes perfectly what you will find on this good demo. I was totally surprised by this, never heard of them before, seems there's always a new undesecreated ground. Thank you very much alan! TERMINATOR(Cze) - Termination demo 1989 , another Terminator yes. Total deathrash attack which begins with "Terminator" , starts instrumental but later goes directly to thrash, reminds me to what BLOODBATH(Ser) did on their early recordings, KREATOR(Ger) , plus the weird words for those fans of the unexpected demency makes this excellent. "Golgota" keeps this Brazilian-germanic-czechian vibe, now that I know EXPLICIT HATE(Bra) , it could be a reference too. "Nuclearni utok" starts with great riffs and drumming with little alternation of bases but then follows an spectacular riffs which also made me think of the ultra killer bastards from DISARM(US) , I think the guitars along with that in your face sharpy bass is what generates the connection, besides here you can appreciate the bass pressence not only going through guitar riffs but also with some good arrangements. "Zralok" is the first track adding some blasts and a kind of bell ha ha on its beginning, this bassist is no joke, totally devoted to the role. Good solo here that melted with bass lines, greatly done. "Tanec Smrti" now this made me realise they were in the same vein KRABATHOR(Cze) and DEBUSTROL(Cze) demo era. "Termintator" terminates the demo with an instrumental bag of riffs. After all, impressive, this is an excellent deathrashcore annihilation, would you resist the temptation? get it! TERMINATOR(Cze) - Unification demo 1989, second demo from them, same year, same ideas, more tracks, wow! The mix here got more equally distributed among instruments, so it sounds little bit better than previous demo. The previous demo is more shocking so I don't know what to add regarding this one. It's a good demo but the other is more obscure. TERMINATOR(Cze) - Turany U Brna 1989, this is a live recording from the very same year where tracks from both of those 89 demos were played. Sadly the bass is totally unexistent so will not be comparable to the demo recordings but here you can appreciate that they were not bullshit, this band was a real massacre, vocals are totally agressive as it must! "Xenophobia" begins and it gets followed by "Golgota" where the bass seems to be there trying to make its way to this recording but hardly achieves it. TERMINATOR(Cze) - Demo Promo 1993, this promo got done after the release of their first LP, which I found not that good comparing it with these demos, and this promo sucks badly. All these recordings were put together on a double CD by Underground Records in 2011 with an awful artwork but kills anyway, If you can get it, you won't be disappointed, mostly due to its first CD. MORTEM (Per) - Rehearsal 1988 in Spanish, dubbed, interesting that this recording is in spanish with tracks that later appeared on "Evil Dead" demo, and the sound is incredible, I cannot believe they achieved this recording sound for a rehearsal back then, totally clear. Honestly I prefer them on their demos than on this rehearsal, and the production achieved later is what made them obscure, here you can appreciate the early days of a monster beast of darkness in its most primitive stage. You will come across with "Ritos mutilatorios" (Mutilation rites) , "Licántropos" (Lycanthropes), "Muerte diabólica" (Evil dead) , "Súcubo" (Sucubus) and "Ilusión de Sangre" which reminds me of MARCA ACME (Ury) ja ja ! Only for the curious and gravediggers of the eternal boundless abysm of deathrash. Thank joakill for the suggestion ,totally unexpected and weird to listen to "Evil Dead" in spanish ha! SOBERANIA PERSONAL(Arg) - Benditos sean muñecos que pegan 1988, RE 2019 magniflicly done by Outsider Classics Records on tape, the printing is just like if it were from the old times, spectacular hardcore punk with female vocals that vomit hatred in your face, the lyrics are totally anti, love Vivi fukin screams, her tune is a mixture between Roxana from SUPER RATON(Arg) and Lynda from SACRILEGE(UK) , the music flows among DISCHARGE(UK), 200 MUERTOS(Par) ,etc . Side A skin you with "Lider", "A los políticos" ("to the politicians") fukin awesome "en este fukin mundo hay sólo dos tipos de políticos, los que te cagaron y los que te cagarán!" this even starts with a superfast deathrash kind of riff, "Mi tv ha estallado" , "Maskavidrio" , "Ciudadanos idiotizados", "Sucios y Coimeros" . Side B slows down a little bit but then agression returns with: "En verdad es una gran verdad" ressembles to "Black Sabbath" track with a mixture of ACCUSED(US) on the tremolo riff , I think from their track entitled "Autopsy" , "Supermacho" against machism, great one, "Trapos", "Falsas esperanzas" and "Socios a la fuerza" . Totally rebel music, lyrics, attitude, this is a must for those digging into this think-for-yourself realm. The message on the tape's insert is great, "Para tú oreja, hijo y para que molestes a tú vecino" (for your ear, son and for bothering your neighbor). Highly recommended. The whole production was great, this demo has a great sound quality, dynamic and real. I found it not too good but not bad either, interesting in fact, I believe the drummer is the most outstanding on this recording, for instance "Scientific Blessing" has some insane parts and also "Malignant Cenotaph" which starts fast as fuk. Женская Болезнь (Rus) - 1я Леди СССР 1990 demo , I could only track this on shitty mp3, for historical purposes and to invite others not to ignore this gem, I am writing about it. Well this is much more interesting demo than the single I reviewed before, much more uncompromissed style with kind of british heavy metal wave on it coming from ROCK GODDESS(UK) may be, but in a thrashier manner. As soon as the demo begins I could not avoid the Клиника(Rus) vox tune and way of singing. when this goes for the thrashier and more obscure parts like on "4_Айн Цвайн .." track , bands like PROPELLER(Rus) , KRÜGER(Rus) and even Коррозия Металла(Rus) could be related. I also got this "Фестиваль Черёмуха" demo 1991 which suks badly... it's a kind of live tape that has nothing to do with what they played before... I think upto this recording one should try to get everything from them. I will add this on my neverending wishlist because is totally impressive, from time to time when those more Rock / Heavy Metal parts, the sound gets really familiar for those into the origins of Latinamerican Heavy Metal , took me to bands like ACIDO(Ury), RIFF(Arg) , SUPER RATON(Arg) , SS (Ven) their recordings from 85, and I don't know what else because I am an ignorant fuk. If DORSAL ATLANTICA(Bra) were polish, then this is how it would have sounded, infuences coming from Mike's DESTRUCTION(Ger) on guitars are also there. This has a really childlish artwork but the music is totally braziliagressive and when on tupatupa you can feel the polish fast insanity. Pretty good recording and sound for the time."Odwieczna Psom" reminded me to "Mutilator" track from MUTILATOR(Bra) and the track "Na Poźarcie Psom" also reminded me of EXTERMINATOR(BRA). If you get this you won't be disappointed at all! This demo worths it! PROSECTOR(Pol) - Total Shit 1987 demo, this is the second part of the aforementioned Compilation by Thrashing Madness records CD , This is hugely fast deathrashing ferocity, since the second demo was first in order, now I see how they evolved in terms of production, but music is absolutely and equally in the same vein which is fukin impressive, probably a little bit more chaotic. I must say I still prefer the 88 demo but having both demos together is a good opportunity to check every detail. If I would compare them with another local act it would be SLAUGHTER(Pol) because of the speed approach. Another polish grave excellently profanated by this label. KRABATHOR(Cze) - Breath of Death demo #1 1988, dubbed, this is their first assault and as one could expect, they enjoyed all kind of thrash metal so you will find some tracks coming from an obscure deathrash background up to some speed metal tracks. Besides that, the whole tape is really dynamic with a rehearsal sounding of course, one of the things one can appreciate, and get hooked by, is the vocals effect, which I believe is nothing more than a bad quality one, but killer he he, all sung in Czech, so expect weirdness on spits and screams. KRABATHOR(Cze) - Total Destruction Demo #2 1988, dubbed, if I compare this one to the previous demo, this is more homogenous, you get pure Thrash Metal with the same strange vocals that give them that death metal touch. I believe this could have been their keypoint into defining their style at the time, or at least during the 80s. I felt some IMPERATOR(Pol) -ish riffs mixed with DEATH(US) in a rehearsal environment, also made me think a little bit of NECROPHILIAC(Spa) and SLAYER(US) , while on the more speedy parts METALLICA(US) is also found . This is not better than the first one but not bad to check their next step. KRABATHOR(Cze) - Brutal Death demo #3 1988, dubbed, the first track "Muceni V Ohni" is fukin catchy with an exquisite riff ala DESTRUCTION(GER) / AGRESSOR(FRA) , "Apocrypha" follows it being much obscure, noisy and fast. "Hirici Ko Stel" begins with a weird intro fading into a DEATH(US) kind of riff, is more or less an intro. "Brutal Smrt" another great thrash riff as it if were from KRÜGER(Rus) mixed with fast agression. "Zloba" goes on as if it were from a different recording session , slower nothing to highlight, the other tracks are better and "Memory" ends this with an awful melancholic outro. This demo is better than the "Total Destruction" one but nothing beats the "Breath of Death". Anyhow these are interesting for historical purposes and to thrash your head with czech thrashing death. Thanks joakill for these recordings! IMPERATOR(Pol) - Eternal Might demo 1988, dubbed. Finally got a copy of this one. I am so used to their Live 87 tape that is not possible for me not to compare it with that one, which also includes the tracks found here. Starts with "Endless Sacrifice" sounding as if it were a recording done by ANARCHUS(Mex) but with a much deep voice and rythm changes. This is a more dm-oriented recording and it is really well done. "Swieta Wojna" follows the same ideas with hugely fast and crazy drumming. "Lucifer's Legions" shows musicianship on the top, they are so tight, bass and guitars fit so well together with drums and vocals with pure hate with little simple but effefctive reverb/chorus effects. "Persecutor" closes the demo, a pretty well rememberable track from their "The Time before Time" LP . This is without any doubt, a key for their absolutely perfectly LP achieved afterwards, this indeed is mighty. As this copy comes from a reissue rip, a couple of bonus were added, "Armegeddon" , excellent track in the very same vein, and "Persecutor (re-edit)" with more bass on the bass. If you happened to be shocked by their capabilities on their LP, well you'll die when getting this one recorded as power trio. This is a total must. Thanks jaokill for all these audios I could finally get. INVOCATION SPELLS (Chl) - Descent the black throne 2014, CD RE by Metal Command Records. This is their second full length, I have no clue how the hell they sounded before this one, I managed to see them live in buenos aires, argentina. I almost lost my jaw when I saw the monster drummer how fukin astonishingly he played, the whole band is fukin tight and you will hear not even a small mistake, it was tremendously impressive. These guys have lots of classical influences coming from SLAYER(US) , DESTRUCTION(Ger) , CELTIC FROST(Swi) , VENOM(UK) , BATHORY(Swe) , AURA NOIR(Nor) , GEHENNAH(Swe) ,etc,etc... but although they count on pretty well known almost-riffs, they always add some extra amount of intelligent changes which always caught you just right in time when you are about to say "ah this is like..." . Luckily seems they played lots of tracks from this album because I can remember some of them. This is a pretty catchy Black/Thrash form of Metal , with vik, we were the whole time thinking of OMEGA(Gre) because some parts were pretty similar and the vocal tune too, on this particular album I guess they are similar to NOCTURNAL(Ger) and some VELHO(Bra) at some moments. This is not an spectacular band, but it is pretty good and totally devoted when live. If you have the chance to see them, well, go fukin ahead, you will really enjoy it! WITCHNIGHT(Arg) - Unholy Speed Metal EP 2017, CD RE 2022 Metal Command. This includes the previously-reviewed 4 track demo tape plus three tracks. The first four tracks are quite awful in terms of production, I felt those were betterly suited on tape, too clean sound on CD, really digital feeling. But the next three tracks are really well done , much better, the whole sound is well produced. These are "Tyrannical Warlock" , "Knights of Eternity" which is almost an intro, and "Trumpets of Revelation" that counts on a great solo. In the end, not a bad compilation. I am really intrigued by their latest album. Killer band, years waiting to see them live and finally achieved! POISON(Ger) - Rehearsal 12.1986 , dubbed. This is probably their best rehearsal with optimum sound quality. If you are looking for more occult tracks from these masters of death, this is for you! 90 minutes of pure poison! Thanks again joakill for this one. TOTAL MAYHEM(Bra) - Three Faces of Violence demo 2003, CDR. This is an outstanding crude almost cross-over Thrash Metal band worshiping DESTRUCTION(GER) but at the same time MX(Bra) influences are notorious. For instance the track "Disgrace" has a similar vocal rythm to what was "Fighting for the Bastard" . Epic lyrics, "Transgenic Food" JA JA! I was really surprised because the artwork shows off not what I was expecting at all. I think this project could be compared to ALCOHOLIC FORCE (Col) and tons of other Thrash Metal classics from the 80s . Really recommended, thanks eduardoom! BLACK UNIFORMS(Swe) - Faces of Death LP 1989, unofficially released 2022 by Hardcore Horror Recs on awful pink 12'', I did not know this was pink shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit... anyway at least sounds pretty good, to continue with my slow-phased-almost-research on HC Punk Thrash metal mixture, I discovered this project thanks to my friend Rizal (astonishing recommendation!) . This is an inyourface Hardcore Thrash album plenty of interesting ideas, great solos and rythms with an impressive vocals which ressembles to SKITLICKERS(Swe) and CRUDE SS(Swe) , the overall music is a kind of DISCHARGE(UK) along with ENGLISH DOGS(UK) due to its not-so-common metallic stuff but not that skilled, plus a kind of CHAOS UK(UK) aggression. I think this album kills and "Trapped" track with its almost-cut riff just blows my brain. You will come across with funny and impressive lyrics, all tracks are great and these shine: "Sacrifice", "Do you conform" about dull life at work, "Teenage Waste" about how we waste our lives , "Acid Punk" , "Trapped", "Uncut" about cutting scenes on horror films hahahaha epic! , "A dead cop is a dead one" about repression and last but not least "Computerworld" which does the same to everyone "MAKES ME SICK!!!" . I also happened to realise there's a hidden track on Side A which reminds me of a 200 MUERTOS(Par) riff. Highly recommended for fans of the aforementioned projects and those looking for not only good but rebel musik. TEROK NOR(Ger) - Rematerialization Fails EP 2022, tape by Dying Victims Prods. This cassette with four tracks and a fukin weird and incisively sci-fi artwork totally drew my attention and got what expected, this is a fukin chaotic Technical Death/Thrash Metal project coming from the German lands. I am glad bands like CRYPT DAGGER(GER) and this one appear from time to time, with original and atypical aesthethical approaches making their way in a total uncompromissed manner, as it must be, this is extreme metal, fuk the rest. Here you will have an amazing thrash combination with kind of classics like AGRESSOR(Fra), MERCILESS(Swe), DEATH(US), little-fast-parts ala AUTOPSY(US) but with a thashier essence from time to time coming with a Black Metal aura on the back as if it were "Black Thrash Attack" from AURA NOIR(Nor) which makes you think also of INFANT DEATH(Nor) ("Funeral Massacre" EP era) and on their first track I felt the sci-fi cosmos chords ala VEKTOR(US) . A little detail to take into account, the vocals seems to count on no effects at all so this is as unpure as it can sound, or may be too little, so this is pure gutvomitting spits plus a vocalist tune in the way the not-so-new-wave-of-norwegian-autopsy-worship-metal have done these latests years , first two coming into my mind, MABUSE(Nor) and OBLITERATION(Nor) , so you know what I mean. This is a pretty killer tape no one should be ignoring. I hope they release something in the very same line soon with more tracks. I will keep this around my deck with no hesitation! For those curious, this band got its name from "Star Trek" serie and also seems to be the whole source of their inspiration, pretty nerd but I admit they were originally smart, even though I have never checked the serie, I was always intrigued by it and is on my soon-to-watch list. A beermug in the black skies for these fukers. buy, dub or steal, drink the beer and killllll! DEMACRATOR(Pan) - The Legacy 2022 by Zzooouhh Records, unknown Panamenian Death Metal to me, I think I never listened to any band from that country during this era, these recordings date from 1991 to 1992. First track shocked me because I thought of "Total Destruction" by our locals ANGKOR VAT(Ury) but then it bends into a melodic Heavy Metal line due to its solo. This begins with their "Purgatory" Demo 1 from 1991, which shows off lots of influences coming from the late 80s beginning of the 90s, DEATH(US), ENTOMBED(US), NAPALM DEATH(UK) and so on endlessly. Few aspects also reminded me of ECLAMPSY(Ury) 's "Extreme Feelings" LP because counts on a acoustic intro on their last track and the sound of the drums took me also to their mighty and ignored demo "Without Mercy" . Besides some SEPULTURA(Bra) influences are here and there from the "Beneath the Remains" era, I heard "Innerself" riff somewhere. And what drew my attention the most, was the fact that some riffs sounded just like the ancient russian ways... I could not avoid thinking of PHANTASM(Rus) , in general terms it is indeed a mixture of lots of stuff. "Terror Sight" demo 2 from 1992 is more into the slower and groomer parts of DEATH with more dark vocals, probably in the line of BENEDICTION(UK) 's "Subconcious Terror" . "Reign of Desolation Reh Demo" from 1991 closes this compilation. Here you can appreciate they melted into a more Thrash Metal direction even though they still sound obscure but vocals are less deep and more ripping. In general terms I found them quite on the average but the first demo is pretty nice. I think that makes this compilation worth it. Thank you very much erik for this one! Маркиза (Rus) - Маркиза LP 1989 by Мелодия Records, what can I do with my russian desires? This is a Hard Rock / Heavy Metal project in the vein of GIRLSCHOOL(UK) (Demolition era), I can hardly compare it with something else honestly. I liked the vocal tune of this Markiza de sade! he he! Tracks are all mixed into rock, then ballad, then rock, then ballad to make it interesting, the pre-last track from A-side even has some kind of PINK FLOYD(UK) vibe. For those not sure if this worth it, check it online before, but in my mind this was a pretty interesting catch, I believe this is one of the very first Hard Rock / Heavy Metal bands coming from there that I can stand and even enjoy. Круиз (Rus) - Круиз-1 LP 1987 by Мелодия Records, another Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band from the mother russia, highly skilled, I believe influenced by some VAN HALEN(US) and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN(Swe) so expect interesting solos everywhere, this guitar heroe is pretty impressive, the vocal tune reminded me of POKOLGEP(Hun) . Last track from A-Side is the heaviest and fastest that also takes you to Мастер(Rus) from their first LP era. On the B-Side you get the JUDAS PRIEST(UK) influences and more Мастер . Another unknown band to me that was a pretty good catch! Let's see if these two bands are the gateways to more Heavy metal from there that I could have disposed of in the past due not to bearing with it. D.T.P. (Arg) - #1 2023, First issue from this underground fanzine which by its name you know what to expect. Its spanish-written (this should also be published in english due to the interesting interviews done) and the fact that made this so appealing to a reader is that is fluent due to be written by different collaborators. Here you will find a too much mystical NECRO MANIAC(UK) interview, a short DESOLATOR(US) interview, a summary of DESEXULT(DNK) / SAMHAIN(DNK) history which is really good ( cheers manuel! ), a pile of reviews, a pretty good and interesting APES OF GOD (Sal) interview , a band from El Salvador, a NOCTIS INVOCAT(Gua) interview, not my kind of beer but this interview, along with COMBAT NOISE(Cub) are immensively well approached interviews, mostly the COMBAT NOISE one which is fukin amazing, lots of details got covered, great and fluent exchange between the interviewer and the interviewee making this a full of information text, one of the best interviews I have ever read in my life I guess (well done Carlos! ). You can also find a PERVERSE RITES(Per) interview and a short summary of the current Peruvian underground, this was a great idea!! DEATHHAMMER(Nor) was also covered here, sadly the interviewee did not fullfill the wholeness of some questions which made this interview not that good, but the questions were the right ones. Cez congrats on this first issue and let's see what will come in the future! Thanks to its content, this fanzine should have been better xeroxed/manufactured , I hope that can be achieved for future releases. Excellent papers one should get instantly. COFFINSLAVES(Arg) - #1 2023, Another argentinian Fanzine which embraces you with a really good MANZER(Fra) interview ( cheers Shaxul! ) followed by some good short-info flyers for bands , A hugely interesting interview for a female-vocal romanian project named LARVAE(Rom) (the girl ended up being Italian but formed the band there), a short but good OCTAGON(Col) interview and another short one for SAURON(US) then a really interesting interview with CHRIST SNAKS(Pan) with Raul (From Panama Bowels blog) short and great. MORGE(Arg) was also interviewed (cheers Sergio!) and lastly the nowadays kings/queen of Russian Thrash Metal MYSTIC STORM(Rus) . Even though all interviews are short, they are right into the point, the whole fanzine is short in fact, but that does not make it less valueable, I really enjoyed the way it is written, because does not focus on anything else more than the interview itself. OUTRAGE(Ger) - Demo I 1985, dubbed tape. "Go to hell" initializes your brain on a first-wave of Black Metal inspired by VENOM(UK) , not too much to highlight, resembles a little bit on what POISON(Ger) was. "Rigor mortis" has a Heavy metal/Speed metal intro and then back to a doomish atmosphere ala BLACK SABBATH(UK) . Now side B , "Into the abyss of belial" great combination of bass and guitar plus a HELLHAMMER(Swi) -ish drumming , even during the solo part, this is a good track but is not that great either. "Death from Behind" , keeps the same vibe than before, now I thought of Оберън(Bul) but this is not that good. In the end, this is not a lost gem from the 80s but an average demo, I admit the vocalist is pretty extreme for the time and some SODOM(Ger) influences appear too from "In the Sign of Evil" EP era. OUTRAGE(Ger) - Demo II 1985, dubbed tape. "The King and the beast" introduced with a good ambient sound which seems to be taken from a movie, then some arpeggio that reminded me of MERCYFUL FATE(Dnk) which gets followed with a kind of funeral march, could be related to the Black metal wave from Hellas since it reminded me to VARATHRON(Gre) and the intro finishes with a robotic voice as if it were the beginning of NOCTURNUS(US) 's "Thresholds" album. Finally "D.E.L.O.S. The asylum of the vanished" begins, the whole production is quite improved in comparison with the previous demo, and is definitely more SODOM(Ger) , gives the idea they chose that path to follow, the track has a couple of short but good solos, and the increase on speed seems they evolved musically, "At the edge of Madness" from EXCRUCIATION(Swi) also rang the bell. "Warpaint" twists into some slower parts but then the drumming transports you to "Hymn to Abramelyn" album from MESSIAH(Swi) , this track is much more dinamic, the bass work is really effective, I like how it sounds, and a pretty good solo here too. "Pact of the Wicked" opens side B, it went back to the HELLHAMMER(Swi) roots but jumps into faster SODOM parts with little bit of IRON ANGEL(Ger) , even though those influences are pretty obvious the track itself is great. "Name your poison" at last, gets into a kind of VENOM(UK) -ish speed metal . This is a much better demo which depicts how they indeed evolved. These two demos from 1985 were released by the label Ripping storm on 12'' , it got sold out but you could trace them on some distros probably, in case you are willing to get it. I would recommend this demo. OUTRAGE(Ger) - From Nightmares and Myths... Demo III 1986, dubbed tape, weaker in terms of production , more wicked in music. They used another funeral march similar to what they did on their previous demo along with the well known howling wolf from "Shame on the night" by DIO (US) to begin with "Soils of Charon Part 1-3" which is 10 minutes! Again the pressence of the bass along with the vocals takes you to Оберън(Bul) and the music with those phrases is not possible to avoid "Dethroned Emperor" from CELTIC FROST(Swi) . "Slave Trader" has something from MORBID(Swe) and BATHORY(Swe) 's "Reaper" on its phrases . "Mercenary Force" begins with excellent screams and following the SLAYER(US) touches of riffs and then going up on the same riffing line. This one made me think of BLACK SHEPHERD(Bel) . Probably their best track. Side B has a weird intro which opens for "Black Metal Attack" , vocalist kept improving, is more violent, reminded me of AGGRESSOR(Bra) 's vocalist on "Kill or Die" LP. Some METALLICA(US) influences are here and there too. "Refugee to Beyond" has a great effect on its solo and some rythms are quite punk. "Infernal Recruit" after the almost-no-drum intro when drumming started took me again to a kind of MESSIAH(Swi) mixed with some BATHORY(Swe) on few phrases. Then again more HELLHAMMER(Swi) , I am not sure if all these is a real track or just a jam. This finishes with "Soils of Charon (reprise)" , seems some extra reel was there to put this ha ha. This band totally reminds me of the steps POISON(Ger) took, but seems they did not managed to release an "Into the Abyss" kind of recording, that's why I believe they did not have such a success due to that fact and probably because each track reminds you to something already heard somewhere else. Ripping Storm records also released this one on 12'' , and it is still available. Thank you again pat for these! THERION(Swe) - ...Of Darkness 1991 , dubbed tape from the Avanzada Metalica release. I got this one long ago from my friend Brüno; It was on my pile of pending crap for such a long time... even though we listened to this with beers more than one time, I never checked them properly, It was the time when I was already beginning to get bored of 90s DM, and of couse the first wave to get rid off was the swedish one. Although I still think that genre end up being quite boring in general terms, this one has something on it that keeps you on the mood. The production is good, the riffs are catchy but not silly and the vocalist is quite outstanding who happens to count on few little effects from time to time that make quite a difference. Expect something in the line of HETSHEDS(Swe) , ENTOMBED(Swe) , HYPOCRISY(Swe) , UNLEASHED(Swe) all wrapped up with a DEATH(US) deathlike essence which could be somehow associated with GORGUTS(Can) and even CANCER(UK) , MORGOTH(Ger) , all these summarizes quiet, I expect, accurate, what you'll getting when listening to this great recording. DESTRUCTOR(US) - Maximum Destruction 1985 tape, dubbed from Headsplit Recs reissue, thanks joakill for this one. Killer Heavy/Speed Metal act influenced by EXODUS(US), DARK ANGEL(US) and some SLAYER(US) . Counts on a killer drummer for sure with lots of fast double kicks which reminded me a little bit of SAVAGE GRACE(US) too. From time to time I could not avoid to relate them with DISCIPLES OF POWER(CAN) probably some screams and tunes on the vox took me there and thinking of Canada, EXCITER(CAN) cannot be left out with some traces of IRON MAIDEN(UK) and MOTORHEAD(UK) due to pressence on bass , some ZOETROPE(US) too. The whole LP is dynamic so you don't get bored, tracks like "Maximum Destruction", "Pounding Evil" , "Overdose" and "Iron Curtain" are great. If you come across with this one, definately is quite a hidden gem as I believed I read somewhere regarding this recording which did not get too much attention on their time, go ahead and get a copy or trade a dubbed one, won't be disappointed. TORR(Cze) - Institut Klinkické Smrti 1991, CD RE 2018 by Dark Symphonies, another excellent reissue by this magnificient label. This release which I think could translate into "the institue of the Death Clinic" or something like that, because the only word I know in their language is Smrti HA HA HA, I don't know how to say "Hi" but i know how to say "death", will be helpful if i am dying somewhere in time in their country hahahahaha. In terms of sound, is exactly, or almost, the same of what their first LP was and seems both were recorded during the same year, quite an intense experience I believe... is a really hard schedule to follow isn't it? I really enjoyed their "Armageddon" LP, is the response to CELTIC FROST(Swi) from czech republic, and due to lyrics on their language, that made it quite unique, even though this album is kind of following the same vein, I think they lost, first, their creativity in some aspects, mostly in riffs and their melting into drums, but at the same time they got inspired by "To Megatherion" LP because of the keyboards I think, which are really great and I am not keen on keyboards at all! second, they sacrificed a little of their speed to become a little bit doomer... I believe this is not a bad recording, but is not as good as their first one. Eventhough I might be wrong, but I trust myself, if you know them you should get this CD, this label's releases are always spectacularly done and this may not be excellent but worth the space on your collection. Best tracks "PÁN SNU (Noçni múra na ulici ELM)" that's how you would say "Nightmares on elm street" I suppose, hahaha because the chorus says "Freddy Kruger" with a vocals exactly as Tom G Warrior; "Seru Krev" , "Kremator". SCHIZOPHRENIA(Bel) - Recollections of the Insane 2022, These guys put another dimension on the top of classical deathrashing ferocity. Even though the name suggests nothing more than an overused name, the perfection on their musical approach along with classical riffing and drumming make this absolutely a good catch. They mixed astonishingly the death metal from the 90s with the 80s thrashing metal vibe , which is not uncommon at all, but huge amount of details were put into this, effects, mixing on guitars, bass, drums,etc,etc,etc ... details are tons! In fact, I thought I will never be able to listen to more than 4.30 minutes length tracks with attention again, due to the lack of originality from nowadays, but they made it! You will hear a thrashier MORBID ANGEL(US) , some RIPPER(Chl) , VEKTOR(US) technical aspects along with PESTILENCE(Hol), DEATH(US), CYNIC(US) and even some DECAPITATED(Pol) riffs can be tracked . This is not for those expecting crude rock n roll... it's not filthy but modern and classic on its own way. I totally recommend getting this one, at least on tape which is the cheapest option... I found stupidly trendy the amount of colors for this particular LP, so I would not care less about buying it on 12'', reminded me of NAPALM DEATH's pink,yellow,etc vinyls HA HA what a huge crap. Great work from this band anyway. Highly recommended, I will catch the tape soon and you should too! MORBUS CHRON(Swe) - Sleepers in the Rift 2011, CD by Pulverized Recs. Opens and you say, this is AUTOPSY(US) , is the mighty Chris right there... but no, is not, these guys worship them as much as they can, with few differences but one just can find riffs from "Severed Survival" and "Mental Funeral" throughout the whole recording. Eventhough that is a fact, the vocalist has few interesting kind of mumbling and screamings that revive the local swedish essence coming mostly from ENTOMBED(SWE) . I was submerged into their world thanks to my friend bruno; I am not quite sure if I can say this spectacular, this is a kind of clone to me, but I admit this band was reviving AUTOPSY legacy at the right time, but then "Macabre Eternal" was the return and I believe they got quite forgotten... If I am honest, I think norwegian school of black/death metal mimicking AUTOPSY is much interesting than this one because more original elements are taken into account and not just using a borrowed signature. ARMOROS(Can) . Piece by Piece 2008 Compilation 3x CD by Marquee Recs, this is an spectacular release with all you are expecting to get from a compilation, and guess what, is ordered chronologically! I won't spend too much words on their first demo named "Debut Assault" 1986 because is quite on the average, the best track is the first one, "Sacrifice" which resembles to SLAUGHTER(Can) and BLACK DETHE(US) and "Armor us", the whole demo is enjoyable anyway; then 1987 "Resurrecdead" demo breaks your jaw, the sound is spectacular and here you can perceive the SLAYER(US) and LETHAL PRESENCE(CAN) kind of riffs along with a SLAUGHTER(CAN) vibe on vocals; outstanding progress if you look back to their first demo, much more skilled. This was filled with an spectacular live gig from 1987, I do like this live, now I understand why it is indeed highlighted on the insert that their live shows were totally aggressive, all tracks are really powerful and fast, some of those included on their following demo. "Remeber Michelle" is their next demo from 1987, starts with an intro that reminds me of the "Southern Blood" demo 1989 by ANGKOR VAT(URY) and rapidly the guitars enter to expose this fresh demo. Well, if you think of DARK ANGEL(US) , ATHEIST(US) mixed with ANNIHILATOR(Can) this is what you get, SADUS(US) could also be related and AGRESSOR(FRA) because the amount of energy and power exposed on this very first track on each riff, named like the demo, this is their best. "Apparition of Force" follows but more SLAYER-ANNIHILATOR-ish ways are present but vocals are always in the vein of Scheafer from ATHEIST, the step took from previous demos to this one is outstanding, they kept looking ahead. "Critical Mass" follows the same line, some screams took me to ENTOMBED(Swe) on "Clandestine" album, and the chorus with double bass drumming reminded me a little bit of "Maze of Torment" by the gods of MORBID ANGEL(US) . "The Dead" closes this demo . The whole demo is killer. After this demo two live gigs were included , both from 1988 , not bad but I found the other one much killer, I also thought of Patrick from HELLWITCH(US) when the vocalist speaks, his tone is quite similar too, the best of the second live was that the audience sings along ha ha ha that's killer, on "Dementia" track. Again, impressive energy on stage. Then on the third CD we have the LP entitled "Pieces" from 1988 which was never officially released by any label; this is hugely weird being such a great recording with greatly skilled musicians. In fact the whole production is really professional and seems they were willing to repeat the "Darkness Descends" steps because sounds just like it, but much more complete I must say, because riff changes, solos,etc are constantly appearing, in the same way I mentioned before on their demo era, because this LP groups their most remarkable tracks. Absolutely a must. I cannot highlight their also included 1993 demo, it's more plain, intrincated and exploring another genres as it also has some Funk music... just so typic from those times and much more when you have such a killer bass player. Anyway, this demo does not ruin the whole recollection of Canadian thrash insanity they provided back then. If you happen to find this 3CD box somewhere, don't even hessitate on getting it, just fukin do it! HYDRA VEIN(UK) - Rather Death than False Faith 1988 - RE 2015 by Dark Symphonies Recs. I had no clue about them, never heard their name before but being from UK I wanted to give them a try, the artwork is a great masterpiece, looks quite brazilian in my opinion. Even though I am not a complete English Thrash Metal insaner ; I know few projects from there and vocals took me to DEATHWISH(UK) or SABBAT(UK) . The album is on the average to be honest. I prefer projects like ANIHILATED(UK) that are much more intense and bright. "Right to Die" made me think of "Scarred for Life" by VIRUS(UK) and the omonimous "Rather Death than False Faith" took me to DESTRUCTION(GER) 's "Total Desaster" , "Harlequin" made me think of HOBBS ANGEL OF DEATH(Aus) and "Guillotine" made me think a little bit of EXODUS(US). May be today is not a day to be impressed by this kind of project. This includes the demo 1987 entitled "The Reptilliad" which counts on more HM-oriented vocals and is not outstanding either; if you are willing to dig on the english 80's thrash metal graves, well suit yourself. EXPLICIT HATE(Bra) - A view from the Otherside 1988, recreated by Marquee Records in 2012 as "A view of every side" including demos. Despite counting on an awful modern an absolutely disgusting artwork ( I don't know why the fuk they did not use the original art, which was also not too good but better than this one without any doubt ), the music is over the top aggressive thrash/death metal in the classical brazilian 80s vein, MUTILATOR(Bra) , SEPULTURA(Bra) - "Schizophrenia" era, and ATTOMICA(Bra) - omonimous LP era, are the spices found here. The opening track "Invasion from Inside" kills and followed by "The Mirror" which made me think of RIPPER(Chl) with "People kill the People" he he. "The Otherside" has some ressemblence to TOXODETH(Mex) in my opinion, probably due to the armonics and passages, of course not that classical-music-inspired. "No Life" exposes that the whole production is greatly done, because the power on their music is outstanding, you must listen to this with high volume n beer! "Insane Future" sounds so Thrash Metal/Hardcore (and not in the stupid-so-called-crossover-to-dance way) then back to the thrashing bastardity , some CHAKAL(Bra) -ish screams can be found here. "Suicidal Mankind" in your face thrash metal fury. "The Trip" , believe it or not, is the seventh and last track of this LP! I am not sure where I listened to the beginning of this track but reminded me a little bit of the Russian ways, probably the sharpness on guitars. Some rehearsal tracks from 1987 were included, totally noisy with huge reverb on vox that noisers gonna like. Then two tracks from 1986 demo "Ruins of Ambition" were included (sadly not the whole demo), those are really DM-oriented in terms of vocals but music is HC grind deathrash, totally chaotic. "Suicidal Mankind" demo from 1987 was included too , again two tracks, is their previous work to the LP, the production/vocals of this demo is what make you think of them as a deathrash project , in fact the vox is in a kind of DAMNATION(Can) - AGRESSION(Can) way , it's impressive, here you can feel the aggression cutting the thin air, explosive! I wonder why Gus Santoro (guitars/vox) changed his screams for the LP. "From the Jungle" 1990 demo tracks were also included, less original and too clean, vox is like KREATOR(GER) and the music is not that aggressive as one could expect after such a great album, and last some tracks from 2009 promo were added here, total crap. If you are interested in getting brazilian stuff with the real spirit, well this is for sure something to get, ignore the art and last tracks!! PATHOGEN(Phi) - Blasphemous Communion 2008 , RE 2019 CD by Pictures from Hell, taking the original year release, this is quite an interesting project, but the truth is, the interesting thing that lays bellow the surface, is the fact they are from philipines, I have no vast recollection of monickers from there but this is not too original in the end, few doomish approaches make them weirdly appealing, but the overall production is quite plane and is a kind of more primitive and less produced orthodox north american death metal in the 90s vein. You will hear classics like MORBID ANGEL(US) , DEATH(US) , OBITUARY(US) , may be some BRUTALITY(US) and the likes mixed with few Swedish death metal mid-tempo ingridients. Not remarkable but not garbage either. Being this their first release, I wonder how they evolved. If you are curious about what was happening back then in this corner of the globe, and you are willing to listen to nothing more than death metal, well, take it. By the way, this release also includes their tracks from a split entitled "All flesh fades", here their swedish influences are more notorious I guess, nothing new. DEMONIC HATE(Bra) - Regere Luciferian 2018, CD by Sons of Death Prods, this is 2000's ravage Death Metal inspired by some KRISIUN(Bra) on some drums mostly, fast and extreme. I have no too much words to add since this is not my favorite style, but the production and energy provided by this album deserves a better look from those who are immersed in this realm of death. I am quite certain most deathers will enjoy this album. Grab this while you can. VA(VA) - Antigos Rituais de Culto a Morte 2020, 4-ways Split CD by Arauto da Morte Records. Impressive work done by this label totally dedicated, excellent artwork! INSOLITUM(BRA) opens this recollection of nightmares, well this is a heavy and crunchy Death Metal I happen to unknown, vocals reminded me of Andrea from HUMAN ATROCITY(BRA) ( I salute you here my friend Hernan ! ), and even though I don't have that project that present on my mind, seems on the same musical vein too, even though I prefer faster music, this is not bad. PATHOGEN (Phi) , here again lies new recordings from these guys from philipines, this time they have a more CELTIC FROST(Swi) -ish compositions and I guess I also feel something from INCANTATION(US) , "Onward to golgotha" era and again Swedish ingriedients too, second track is more blast-beat oriented mixed with more ENTOMBED(SWE) -ish stuff, not bad but not spectacular either. Now yes, MAKE WAY FOR THE INCINERATOR , sorry sorry, to DEATH INVOKER(Per) ; this time they presented these tracks in a mixture of SARCOFAGO(Bra) but with much more tupatupa instead of thousand blastbeats... which in my mind seems more interesting. "Death to the traitor" is their first assault. "Death Devotion" follows the same line, this recording is really dynamic in terms of sound because sounds as if it were a high-quality rehearsal but with picky production; I really liked these two tracks, I would compare this to the "Of nihilism and Death" from INFERNAL CURSE(Arg) in some ways, but of course this is much brazilian-oriented in the peruvian ways. NECROCCULTUS(Mex) closes this split, I only knew them from their split tape with SHUB NIGGURATH(Mex), well hell of an improvement in terms of sound if I compare them with that tape, anyhow, seems they like it messy, reminded me of a live recording in Russia by DISGORGE(Mex) , I think they follow that kind of chaotic violence except here you won't find the slow horror-like parts but much more solos instead; is good to know they are active and still recording... let's se what else they will bring in the future, but their line of obscure Death Metal is already carved. The outro included, with a priest speaking, reminded me of BULLDOZER(Ita) , but those prayers were beautifully blasphemized ala "Cannibal Ferox" movie HA HA! Epic! Recommended for those unknowing these projects, in the end, that's what this kind of splits are for! Enjoy! TERASING (Mal) - #1 - 2023 , well this is an extremely honest, non stupid-egocentric-so-cult-supremacy-fuker who really exposes his passion regarding the bands he interviews. Like always, repetitive questions are fukin hard to avoid, but was managed almost good and the information regarding some bands I was digging was pretty excellent. For instance POISONED(Pol) and SEXMAG(Pol) interviews are great and well organized. I have never thought I could have the ability to compare fanzines, but reminded me a little bit of BELLS OF ACHERON(Col) . PAGANFIRE(Phi) is also a really well done in-depth interview and it's great to read how well the interviewer and the interviewed go along with each other, that is the way every damned interview should be done, those are always richer in content and fluent for the reader. DEATH INVOKER(Per) was also interviewed here, fuk man, what an impressive, interesting and funny reading!! I almost vomit my intestines when reading about the dwarf story (Juan your uncle is damn dirty! HAHA! ) , and I have to take note on some of those UFO-related places!! Well this interview is the best for sure! INCINERATOR(Pol) is also intense and good, I will have to dig on this guy and his projects. As expected there's a reviews section with passionate ones not only about music but also about fanzines. Which is also great. "Necromental Storm" demo from MORBID BLOOD (Ury) was reviewed here! This fanzine was a great surprise just when I was not reading at all. Cheers Rizal , impressive first issue, never surrender!!
Pablo Melogno - R.I.P. , this will be my humble words for an underground and hidden warrior and excellent person. This guy was not known for almost anything and kept in the minds of those from the 90s who shared stage with him on concerts, organized by himself, entitled "Melo Thrash" . He used to have an ugly project named TETRUM CHAOS(Ury) but his duties helping other bands on the local media was great and also, he was, until his last days, working on a full history of the uruguayan metal book who will never see the light. He was a great friend of mine, he supported my label activities and respected my band's attitude , he contributed with me to desecrate first GRAF SPEE(URY) recordings and helped me to get the missing pieces of MORBID BLOOD(URY) recordings in spanish to do the release. Fukk there are endless stories behind... not enough to write them here, I cannot belive I am writing this at this very moment. This is really sad, he was still on his first half. A cold beer will meet you down below the earth my friend. I wish I had the opportunity to say goodbye... thanks for your friendship, your help and your knowledge... with you, a huge piece of uruguayan metal have been lost forever. I will never forget you.
