Besides the pile of daily shit, I leave these wonderful news; PANDEMONIUM(Ury) is back! so fuk off the rest! "Matar por ansiedad, matar por ansiedad"!!! ; and prepare for the vomit: MENACE UNSEEN(Chl) - Rehearsal 22.07.2026 . This was shared to me by my brother Victor SOS, greetings Animal and Tomate (ex- DEATHLY SCYTHE(Chl) ) !! Starting with "Dawn of the dead" revealing a Deathrash vein influenced by all classics from Chile, but specifically speaking, "Supreme Revelations" from DEATHLY SCYTHE is unavoidable to mention, at least the sound and the vox reminded me of them instantly. "Awakening in the dark" this time took me to Peru, CURRICULUM MORTIS(Per) rang the bell, has that HC feeling on it, it's great. "Speed Death" follows the very same line, kills! "Vomit Stench" is a short one, I felt it was inspired by DEATH YELL(Chl) & TORTURER(Chl) too, along with the C.M. previously mentioned. "Mental crucifixion" something on the vox effect made me think of NAPALM DEATH(UK) 's Scum album, I am also thinking of EVIL MADNESS(Chl) and DRENCROM(Chl) , "Reign of Satan" has great bass work and drumming changes, a good mixture, again, with the HC genre. "The wrath of Leviathan" with a arpeggio intro that touches a kind of MATRICIDE(US) 's Mother's day demo ideas, then gets back to what they started, great cut in the middle of the track, making this pretty dynamic. By last, a VIRUS(UK) cover, "Scarred for life", was included, showing off what inspired this monster. An impressive first attack, this is a promising project coming from Chile carrying the spirit that has been putting this country on the mouth of every deathrashing metal addict around the fukin globe! Congratulations and hope to see a demo coming soon! MALFEITOR(US) - Diabolic Youth 1987 demo. LP by Buried by time and dust Records RE 2017. I thought I've written about this gem before, but seems I did not. Spectacular deathrash 3-tracks demo including the obscure "Diabolic Execution" , the insane "Bringer of Hate" and the killer "Dark Funeral" , that will make you think of "Chase the Dragon" by ANIHILATED(UK) mixed with EXMORTIS(US) . Top quality deathrash demo, could be related to SADISTIC INTENT(US) if you'd like. Do you need something else to start digging on it!? This reissued includes their 88 unreleased demo that sucks, the music is good deathrash, a little bit more technical than before, think of NOKTURNEL(US) mixed with DEVASTATION(US) , RECIPIENTS OF DEATH(US) , FATAL(US) , some ATHEIST(US) , some NASTY SAVAGE(US) , some NOCTURNUS(US) , and so on, but with a really crappy vox, I think is something similar to the worst technical shit by CYNIC(US) . After such a unique, remarkable and killer demo, I don't understand how the could do this, in 88! KENTIK BROSK(Swe) - Ultraspell demo 1988, shitty mp3 on CDR. This is another good demo I thought I wrote about, never is too late. Ten tracks of ripping deathrashcore, I can think in a mixture among X-CRETA(Bel) , DISARM(Jpn) , AUTOPSIA(Ger) and LEGION OF DEATH(US) . Tracks are "Deed of deception" , "Sourish kiss", "You're the doodle", "Buttrip" , "Ghastly gerkin", "Say nothing and live" , "Hidden truth, "Ridiculous stuff they say" , "Laceration" and "The gore we adore", being this last part of "Hymns of the dead vol I" compilation tape, with a riff in the AUTOPSY(US) 's vein that stucks in your deadbraincells!! Recommended for those who know what they will be dealing with! TOTEN(US) - Macabre Demo 1988 + Misery Demo 1987 as "Dreary Proximity", LP by NWN Prods. Spectacularly done 12'' with killer production in every aspect. Mostly known as PROFANATICA(US) , but this is not black metal, is a Deathrashvomit in the vein of CURRRICULUM MORTIS(Per) , REENCARNACION(Col) mixed with NECROVORE(US) , NUCLEAR DEATH(US) , REGURGITATION(US) and MARTIRE(Aus) , a previous stage, most suitable for deathers. Demo 87 "misery" track, comes with an intro that reminded me of SACRIFICE(Can) 's "Torment in Fire" LP Intro, and also took me to NECROPHAGIA(US) , just in that very sick pace, EXTERMINATOR(BRA) also rings the bell plus OBSCURITY(Swe) . This cannot be out of your musick pile! Recommended, no excuses! VULCANO(Bra) - Antropophagy 1987, CD by Encore Records. Years without crossing with this one throughout my existence, but finally it got into my hands. This band is no news to anyone digging the classical extreme paths of death, mostly known for their outstanding works on the cult masterpiece "Bloody Vengeance" , and also their "Live!" album for those gravediggers, this became less known and also less atractive, since the music production, at first glance sounds less impressive, mostly because the tracks don't count on marvellous chorus like those found on that previous album, and tracks somehow fall on the already known forms of their style, which I particularly find hellishly intersting, Zhema's ways are right there, restless! And the trademark of Angel's voice, once more, makes this absolutely recognizeable by anyone familiar with these gods. Yes, it is true this won't be better than the previous mallicious intents, but I would state this is a good catch and deserves being part of your music pile. Tracks are the impressive "Red Death", the cruel "Death Angel's Army", "Brainwash" and "F.T.W. (Fuck the war)", their hymn BLACK SABBATH(UK) -ish "Fallen Angel", recorded in studio this time and still killing. Its omonimous "Anthropophagy", the brutal "Anyone can kill", "Stirring", "(Am I crazy?)", "Megathrash" and "Upright" by last. You won't be disappointed, that's a fact! SPHYNX(Ger) - Deadly Speed Invasion demo 2026 tape by Destruktion Records. These teutonic thrash thunderrays are once more deliverying great music. Openning with the furious "Cold grave", followed by "Vienna Calling", "Holodomor" killfastfuk excellent! , and "Kingdom of Jerusalem". This has a great and killer dynamic sound, I only wish the kick on the drum were a little bit higher, luckily vocals got fasterphrased, ala rogga from MERCILESS(Swe) at times, which suits this perfectly. Recommended! DEATH TRIPPER(US) - Burn the Priest 1985 demo, dubbed tape. Killer Thrash Metal act in the vein of MASTER FURY(US) , DAMNAKLEEZ(US) and BLOOD FEAST(US) , so EXODUS(US) influences are expected too. This demo comes with 4 killer tracks, "Into the Pit" , "Baptized in Fire" with great echo ala "In the hell" by VOOR(Can) , METAL ATTACK(Bol) could have been influenced by this too! "Burn the priest" and "Messenger" inspired by CELTIC FROST(Swi) for sure but in its own thrashing ways, mixed with HELLBASTARD(UK) . Killer demo. Cheers chure! You put this one on my mind! I only have this demo, but if you happen to have the rest please throw me a message! greatly appreciated! CYCLONE(Bel) - Brutal Destruction 1986, dubbed tape. A belgium Thrash Metal act, in terms of sound, is a mixture between the German Thrash Metal and the North American sound, this combination is, to my ears, the Canadian sound. While listening to this killer album, I thought of EXODUS(US) , DARK ANGEL(US) , CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER(US) , AGGRESSION(Can) , MISSION OF CHRIST(Can) and RAZOR(Can) . A pretty in-your-face thrash act. "Prelude to the End" is an instrumental song that gives space for "Long to hell", vocals will damage your brain in a blink of an eye. "Fall under his command" and "The call of Steel" are just in the very same page, excellent A-side. "Fighting the fatal" counts on killer solos comparable to what you find on "Bounded by blood" album, "In the grip of Evil" , "Take thy breath" and "Incest love" are equally good, killer B-side, so this whole LP is constant, a solid piece of Thrash, I wonder why the fuk I missed this for that long. It took me more than 10-years to get back to my pending list, seems it completly worth it! Hugely recommended! The comparissons speak for themselves. SEVERE WARNING(US) - Death to False Metal 1986 demo, shitty CDR w/mp3. Another pending to be checked. If I mentioned CYLONE(Bel) is similar to EXODUS(US) well... this is identical! Guitars are in that vein and the voice is almost Baloff! . "Death to false metal" with this name for the track and demo, this had to be like a murder in the front row!!! kills! "The black plague" follows the same lesson in violence. "Hermetically sealed" surprises you with full BLACK SABBATH(UK) -ish funeral, just in the vein of their omonimous track. "It's not easy... to be the antichrist!" , what a funny name ha! Comes back to their pounding metal style, with a technical cut in the middle, and some doom too, a good way to close this release. Pretty nice demo! Please, anyone having this demo on proper quality message me! SEVERE WARNING(US) - A good day... but for who?! 1990. This demo was recorded in 88. This time they got a style next to DEATH STRIKE(US) , I realised their guitar tune is in that vein. They changed towards more crunchy style instead of the EXODUS(US) style they previously had, even though is still present in general terms. "Revenge of the Damned" is the first track showing off what I stated here. "A good day?!" goes back to their first-demo-ideas mixed with the crunchyness, with unexpected changes. "Infernal trinity" is an instrumental one, pretty nice with tons of BLACK SABBATH(UK) vibes and since I mentioned DEATH STRIKE, now I think of MASTER(US) and the Speckmann ways he he. "Napalm" made me think of ENGLISH DOGS(UK) because of the vocals used and the SLAYER(US) -ish riffs, weird cuts, coming more from an HC background I guess. "Better off dead" quite on the average, "Aim to kill" not too much to add here, not what I would expect. "Wicked avenger" the same line. "Rest in pieces" closes. Well, this demo covers different approaches here and there, nothing I would remark. Stick to their first demo without any doubt, but you could listen to this and enjoy it anyways. POST MORTEM(US) - Coroner's Office 1986, CDR. Opening with "Aries of the dead" with full anger and power, they demonstrate a street Thrash Metal in the very vein of DEATH STRIKE(US) and HELLBASTARD(UK) . "Waiting for the funeral" seems more crunchy and HC influenced, after a couple of spins it cracked, it's pretty good one. "Ready to die" thrashes fully with a CELTIC FROST(Swi) vibe and some furious parts with great solos. "No time" shifts from slow to fast making it pretty good but sucks badly before the solo, and after, with clean vox, what the fuk were they thinking?! "Concealed" is great, including KREATOR(Ger) 's "Total Death" riff, I think the vocal tune is similar to DEVASTATION(US,texas) here. Followed by "(It was) just a thought" , "Syncopated Jazz" is instrumental, "Soupy sales" funny , "Coroner's office" put LETHAL AGRESSION(US) in my brains, "Death to the masses" with BLACK SABBATH(UK) -ish environment, this idea is just like the one mentioned above, in SEVERE WARNING(US) review hahaha, what a coincidence, or not haha, it melts into "I want to die" keeping the somber ambient, long & boring, fuk! Doing this track anyone would be willing to die fast! Finally "Run amok" short and fast. Overall, not a super killer recording but not bad. MORBID FAITH(Ger) - #27 newsletter is out! More dirty papers for your eyes full of underground news! SPHYNX(Ger) self-description of each track for the aforementioned demo tape is included, great interview with EURYNOMOUS(Ger) and reviews and more news and flyers! Read or die! SCREAMS FROM THE GUTTER(US) - #11 fanzine from 1988 . Pretty short, humble and interesting fanzine. I reviewed it because I wanted to read an interview with POST MORTEM(US) and was super funny! It also includes some music reviews, horror films reviews and a space for letter publications. Recommended. MEGALOMAIAC(Swe) - #2 fanzine from 1987. Swedish fanzine, pretty good. News from other spacetime, interviews with KREATOR(Ger) , DESTRUCTION(Ger) , HELLOWEEN(Ger) , NASTY SAVAGE(US) , MORTAL SIN(Aus) , OVERKILL(Can) , PARADOX(Ger) and CYCLONE(Bel) , the band I wanted to read about, that's what got me here in the first place. Plus tons of reviews. Recommended.
