Hey there if someone's reading... to be honest, I have been not in the mood to write. As a deathrasher warrior guided by the ancient rules of the underground and nature, I feel force to write few words about my current mind status. I have been listening to few recordings lately, I have been overwhelmed by the massive destruction of human rights in the whole continent of southamerica. "Cycle's eternal loop" I may self-quote, those who firmly believe on the underground, we are together on this, rebel. CONCEIVED BY HATE(Sal) - Death & Beyond 2016, coming from El Salvador released by Morbid Skull Records/Profaner Records, is a Death/thrash band with a Swedish sound, automatically thought of WORSHIP DEATH(Chl) from chile, already mentioned here. "Crossroad of fire" is the first track and is just great. Vocals are pretty killer and riffs are just the well-chosen ones. The production is top-quality released, its aethetics are perfect and its artwork is superb and it was done by the guitarrist! "This is the underground", a pretty huge statement for a band to carry with, they are against their fake scene out there, this is from 2016 so I don't know if it is still valid, but as the decline of Metal is here to stay, probably it still is, good lyrics, I presume this should have been written in Spanish too because the message stays there were you are if that's the case... anyway, it is a great track. A good exposure of their reality, no money, no labels, etc,etc... anyway, expect nothing do infinit! "Chaos Upon us", this track just introduced those CARCASS(UK) "Heartwork" kind of riffs I just do not enjoy... ending in a kind of deathcore-ish breakdowns with a technical twist I just don't like... then it comes back to the ancient vibe it previously had, culminating with an almost-Bill Steer-like solo and falling into a slow tempo riff with keyboards and then again the breakdowns I insistently despice. "The Underdog", , it's not THE KAGAS! Ja ja! almost melo-thrash track, vox is that good that for moments I just don't care about the melo-ugly parts. Also good lyric theme about the "pose" attitude with bulletbelts,gas masks,corpsepainting,etc... this guys are one of us! "...judged by the color of the skin...", I pressume they are anti-racists which I feel I have to highlight. Anyway, first two tracks were better. "We choose who suffer" besides the swedish sounding I think Immolation could be sited here because of the tremolo but the stench of rotting CARCASS is still there, also a "Where the smile lives" MORBID ANGEL(US) riff I heard. This was the end for the A side, "Worship the old ways", lyrics are about, yes, you know it... the ancient ways, struggling to preserve what now is dead, avoiding internet,etc,etc... anyway youtube,facebook links are on the tape's insert. Musically not bad nor the best. "Bellow the pale sky", starts with an awful intro and it remains awful like its name, may be could be good for those into melodic black metal or that kind of crap. "Summoning the grave" starts not that good but at least removes the bad taste of ist predecessor. And they keep the omonimous track for the last, started like a Domination's MORBID ANGEL's era but turned again into that Swedish stuff... more CARCASS again but from the "Necroticism" era, not bad, two fuking great solos! I thought this band would be more southamerican but OK, not bad.I am keeping this tape for the sake of the first two tracks and having something from this country. BLOODSPILL(US) - demo 1988, weeks ago I received a newsletter from my friend hellavenger from Chile (Abismo Store, Hellavenger,Deathwards,etc) who I am gladly distributing here because it's pure ancient and current underground news. I hardly know people who do dig into the old deathrash acts, this newsletter had the logo of this band which of course I knew, I couldn't believe it was mentioned here so I spoke with him about it, and guess what, this demo was reissued, I could not afford it but remember, tape trading is the law in these cases, so now I have this majestic cult. Those unknowing it, you will have your brains thrashed out! Deathrashing madness full speed with killing violent vocals, some of the screamings reminded me of DECEASED(US) from their demo era, remember "the evil side of religion" ugly sounding but killer vox!? may be YOG SOTHOTHS vox too... with a notorious influence of DEATH's soloing. Totally US deathrash, in this vein: DECEASED, NECROVORE(US) ,PRIME EVIL(US) , DEATH(US) and much more for sure! Thanks my friend for this trade you made my day! OMEGA VORTEX(Ger) - Promo 2018 was an extra in the B-side of the BLOODSPILL demo, guess what... is a fukin ultra fast deathrash beyond the underworlds... few can play what this unholy mother fukers play... The first that came into my mind was MARTIRE(Aus) from Australia, but NEKROVOMIT(Can) is in that too... some other could be THRONEUM(Pol) but this is not that Black metal. Four tracks of chaotic and impressive music. SUFFER(Swe) - cemetery inhabitants, what a great name for a demo, coming from Sweden and vomited in 89, the atypical deathrash from those surroundings that I do enjoy. In your face deathrash. This is one of those dubbed tapes I luckily saved from exctinctions from a veteran's collection and ended up keeping it, how couldn't? I may say this band sounds influenced by the chilean PENTAGRAM(Chl) for sure.
